About the Company
Since 1970, Aiab has ensured that companies and authorities always have reliable and customized backup power plants and total solutions for power supply. Today, they have development and manufacturing at their facilities in Fagervik in Timrå municipality.
Some of Aiab's clients include the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the Fortifications Agency, SL, and Statkraft. Such collaborations impose high demands on operation, efficiency, and safety. Aiab only works with customized total solutions, which means tailored equipment as well as development, design, manufacturing, site assembly, commissioning, training, and field service.
About the Role
As an Automation Engineer at Aiab, you will be a key person in the development and operation of automation solutions for backup power and electrical systems. You will work on projects from idea to implementation and ensure that the systems function optimally.
Your Profile
To succeed in the role of Automation Engineer, we see that you are a meticulous and analytical person with a strong interest in technology and problem-solving. You thrive in a dynamic work environment where you can take responsibility and work independently to develop and optimize systems. You are accustomed to working with PLC programming and have a genuine interest in solving technical challenges. You are used to working systematically and can handle complex systems in a structured way, always focusing on the highest operational reliability and efficiency.
You have good experience in automation and electrical engineering and have worked with both PLC programming and control systems. To fit the role, you should also have good communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners. It is important that you are solution-oriented, have a technical mindset, and a desire to continuously develop in your work.
Requirements for the Position
- Several years of experience in automation and PLC programming, or a relevant university education with subsequent work experience
- Driver's license
- Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

Location: Fagervik
